[Javascript] select 'nearly' all checkboxes

this script works fine so far.
2 groups including users and their IDs.
both groups can have the same user, f.e. 'A' wit ID '22'

the function checks for doubles and checkes them both.

the rest is done by php, that's why i had to name the usersId array with numbers users_id[0] ...


now here is the idea:
the checkboxes belonging to a group are surrounded by a fieldset with an id.

if i would like to have an "check all boxes of this group" checkbox, is it possible?!
