    I don't know who you mean, but I and others have asked similar questions
lately, and the answer seems to be "you can't".  Of course, you can't
programmatically close a window that the user opened either, but Dan Costea
brought up an interesting approach that proves you can... perhaps you could
pop up a new window and then close the old one.
