[Javascript] Find a file on the client's PC

Hi all,

I would like to create a javascript function which will be able to =
browse and find under the c:\ directory on client side the presence or =
not of a file. This function will be launched when the page is opened.
Is it possible or not ? Does javascript get the rights to do this ?=20
