[Advanced-java] problems with easysoft driver

Hello list

i'm having problems with EasySoft odbc interbase driver

i use a linux plataform, with unixODBC.
with Datamanager i can acess my database with no problem, but when i try
to acess it with java, i get this error:

"no suitable driver"

i use jdk 1.3.1. I'm trying to connect with sun's jdbc-odbc bridge

Some people say the problem is with the url, but there is nothing wrong
with it . "jdbc:odbc:alias"

do you know what could be the problem ?
