Hello all,
I have a very strange requirement. I have to insert 9999999999 records in
oracle(8) database. The situation is either commit all or roll back all.
At around 85000th insert statement it gives SQLException : Protocol
Exception.
I m setting all the values which are not useful( usually towards the end of
the for loop) as null.
I m also calling System.gc() and Runtime.getInstance().gc();

Has any one faced with such a problem before.
Can any one guide me?
Regards,
Pratap
