Hi Everybody, I am running an applet on Netscape browser, and the opearting system is windows2000. It needs Java Plug-in 1.1 to run that applet. When I am running that applet in internet explorer,it is running without giving any problems. When I am running that applet in Netscape browser 4.7,it is running only after downloading the plug-in from www.javasoft.com web site. The code for that line is pluginspage=3D"http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/1.1.3/plugin-install.h= tml"> Is it possible to link that plug-in locally in HTML page without download= ing from www.javasoft.com? Since, our end users don't know any thing about computers. They don't know, even how to download the plug-in's? I was thinking of downloading that plug-in,and linking that plug-in in HTML page. Please let me know, whether is it possible or not? I cannot ask to user to enable java on Netscape browser. If possible, please give me the solution. Thanx in advance Punam Charnani. ____________________________________________________________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.netaddress.com/?N=3D= 1 --- To unsubscribe, mail advanced-java-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To get help, mail advanced-java-help@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
