Hi all, I have a few questions about how Java works. 1) When I am surfing the net and come across a page that requires Java, how am I able to view the page if I don't have Java on my machine? Is it using the plugin? 2) When I make an applet for Netscape and have java installed on the machine but not the plugin, how does Netscape actually run java for the applet? Is it using the jre with java or what? 3) If I have JDK1.2.2 installed do I also need to install JRE 1.2.2? If so, why since there is a jre with Java 1.2.2 already? Thanks, Salome __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online with Yahoo!
