JDK1.2.2 on Windows 2000

Yes I tried it, and my program crashed ;-) I got some strange exception that wasn't there before. The VM couldn't find a certain method in a certain class....or maybe could find it, but threw a NullPointerException _before_ entering the method. Even a try-catch block around it didnt help much. Renaming the method neither. I could only avoid the crash by not calling that method. (And don't talk me about setting the classpath :-) ) The same application does fine under windows NT 4. I was using the evaluation version of Windows 2000 (the 444 days version or so). regards, ml >From: "William H.
