JDK1.2.2 on Windows 2000

Yes I tried it, and my program crashed ;-)
I got some strange exception that wasn't there before. The VM couldn't find
a certain method in a certain class....or maybe could find it, but threw a
NullPointerException _before_ entering the method.
Even a try-catch block around it didnt help much.
Renaming the method neither.
I could only avoid the crash by not calling that method.
(And don't talk me about setting the classpath :-) )
The same application does fine under windows NT 4.

I was using the evaluation version of Windows 2000 (the 444 days version or
so).

regards,

ml
