How can I unsubscribe a Yahoo email account?

This kind of thing shouldn't have to go out to
everyone on the mailing list, but nothing else I have
done seems to work.  

The problem is that a Yahoo account ALWAYS sticks a
little footer ad in email sent from the account. So
every time I email
advanced-java-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx , it
ignores me.

In advance, I apologize for putting an administrative
issue out in front of everyone. On the other hand,
lot's of us have Yahoo, Hotmail, IWon, etc. email
accounts, and we are all in the same boat.  The
published means of un-subscribing doesn't work for us.
 
Randomly, advanced-java-subscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
does work...  Go figure!
