good debugger for java code

How about a debugger that handles RMI. I have heard that IBM's Visual Age
has a debugger that allows you to step through the server side code from the
client side. I would like this debug capability outside of an IDE tool.

Thanks

Try Netbeans. Not Bad.

I'm looking for recommendations for a good debugger for java that
operates on Solaris.
I'd like a tool that allows me to set breakpoints, step through
functions, check variable values, etc.
through a graphical interface.

Thanks,
Randy Pope
