Java Encryption

Hi folks,

I'm looking for info on creating an encrypted TCP/IP connection from a
java client to a non-java server. I've found some info on Sun's JCE api
at http://java.sun.com/security/ Can anyone comment on this?

The JCE thing looks like a solid option (although it's not exportable
outside the US). There's a subsequent link at
http://java.sun.com/products/jce/jce12_providers.html which points to
Entrust Technologies, a company page which has implemented a free version
of the JCE api.

Any pointers / suggestions would be appreciated.

TIA,
Christian
