How can i get the filename of a home page of a web station?

hi all:
If i input the address "http://www.xjtu.edu.cn"; into a browser,the home page
displayed is the file whose directory is "http://www.xjtu.edu.cn/index.html".My
question is how i can get the actual filename?for example, it is "index.html" in above
excample,or the other filenames like "root.html" under other conditions.
